Every month, you get to talk to an established female developer.
Previous guests:
Jessica Trujillo, Software Engineer – Test Automation at Tandem Diabetes Care.
Jessica had an 8-year career in the military, backpacked for 3 years living on bread and jam before someone suggested coding bootcamps to her. She found a bootcamp that accepted GI bills and hadn’t looked back.
Daphne Charles is a full-stack developer at American Express.
She has a MS in Information Technology from Rutgers University. Since graduating in 2018, she’s worked in South Africa, Australia and now New York.
Marie Starck is a remote React developer.
She shared her story of her experience as a Computer Science student, got a job as a product developer and eventually transitioned to being a digital nomad and working with React!
Here’s a replay of our coffee chat with Daphne. You can see them all on the Replay page.
All of our guests are paid an honorarium of $50 USD. Women in Web Dev values everyone’s time and experience. We believe that women shouldn’t have to always volunteer our time just because it’s “good for the industry”. Your membership payments help to make this happen. 🙂
